Since I drink a lot of protein shakes I always have to mix it up so I don’t get bored- seriously, typically one a day or so. Although once I find a combo I like, I keep it in my rotation (like this no bake PB cookie smoothie). This one has been my go to for the past few days. I find that a smoothie around 4pm really keeps me full until dinner- especially if I add some carbs or healthy fats to it.

I call this the Flat Abs smoothie because bananas keep you from retaining water and looking bloated and the protein builds muscle- all of which are extremely important during bikini season, no?

Banana Mocha Smoothie

Banana Mocha Smoothie

Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 1 minute
Total Time: 4 minutes


  • 1 Scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tsp instant decaf coffee granules
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Stevia or sweetener to taste
  • ice


  1. Toss everything in a blender 
  2. mix
  3. add more ice or more almond milk until you reach desired consistency!


p.s.. this would probably also be good with some peanut butter, just saying
