Aster Elliot Cleanse Review!

By the time you are reading this (well, depending on what time zone I guess) I will be heading over to the Today Show for my holiday gift basket segment! I’ll be on at 9:15, so tune on in!

With all of the traveling I’ve been doing lately combined with the holiday I haven’t exactly been eating the healthiest. I haven’t gained weight, in fact I could probably gain a few pounds, however I just don’t feel that great and find myself craving sugar (hey, it’s my comfort food.. what can I say) and feeling sluggish. I knew I would need some extra energy and also need to be super healthy this week with all of the running around I was going to be doing.

I’ve been writing back and forth with Aster Elliot for a while now- ever since I tried out her Party Perfect Three Day Detox. She has worked in the health and wellness industry for 15 years now and I love her holistic approach to nutrition and health.

Let me start this by saying I don’t ever do juice cleanses. They leave me feeling shaky and out of it- which makes sense, why could you survive for 3 days on juice? What I love about the Aster cleanses are that they actually involve food- clean food- and protein.  Aster sent me the 3 Day Candi Cleanse to try out, as I had a concern about doing the other cleanses and losing weight (I didn’t want to lose weight),  and I have to say it might be my favorite one yet.

With it comes 6 bottles of her protein powder, dazzle nutrition bars, 3 dietary supplements, and an essential oil lip balm- as well as a detailed diet laid out for you.

You start off each day with a protein shake + almond butter and each day has a combination of protein shakes, healthy (not processed food), and the Dazzle Bars (as snacks).  The diet is very easy to follow for 3 days and I’ve found myself sleeping better and having more energy than usual- as well as feeling very clear headed. I’ve also made a conscious effort to slow down my workouts and have done 3 days of yoga/light walking, as I knew my calories would be a bit lower than normal and didn’t want to overwork myself.

Combine all of this with lots of water and herbal tea- I feel completely refreshed and ready to rock and roll this week! I’m also more conscious of what I’m putting into my body, call it a pleasant side effect!

Great news for anyone interested in trying a cleanse? You can enter YMC13 over at her website and get a 20% discount. Aster is also very kind and willing to answer any and all questions you may have, so feel free to reach out to her.

Although I don’t really do a ‘cleanse’ (this girl needs carbs – badly), if I notice that I am feeling sluggish or I have that ‘sugar hangover’ feeling, I cut back on my sugar intake and watch my dairy for a little while, and I feel like I have a lot more energy :) Glad you are feeling back on track, and congratulations once again.
    1. Amy, thank you so much for your comments. They always make me smile.. I’m realizing now that I might not have set you up with your giveaway gift?? Did I forget??

  3. Great review on Aster Elliot! And awesome discount :) I’ve been wanting to try Aster Elliot for a while. Do you think this program can be done while traveling or do you recommend waiting until I’m at home for 3 days?
